FlashInvaders, the official app by Invader, lets you turn your world into a giant game of Space Invaders! Find mosaics by the elusive artist, capture them with your phone, and track your progress. Compete with friends and fellow Invader enthusiasts to see who can "flash" the most!
At Code Rhapsodie, we are techno lovers and huge fans of Invader's work, we created MySpaceInvaderMap years ago to manage Space invader mosaics and help us in our invader quest with FlashInvaders app.
MySpaceInvaderMap is a web application with a map of all invaders mosaic around the world, you can search for a mosaic, mark it as Found, browse your found mosaics and browse the one you don't found ;) Be careful, the map shows approximate locations of the mosaics to keep the fun of the game.
That's why we decided to publish our work in progress and have feedback from the community. Explore a global map of Invader mosaics, track your finds, and discover new ones lurking around the world!

What is this Connect button in the menu ?
With the Connect link you'll be able to connect you Flashinvader account to our web application and recover all you flashs, you score and your friends.
Be aware that connecting your account will transfer your account from your mobile to MySpaceInvaderMap web app. Have no fear, there will be no loss of data or Space Invaders. This transfert is for one month, after that you'll be able to transfer back to you phone. "The number of transfer is limited in time. Your account can only be installed on one device at a time." See official documentation.
To play with us, connecting your Flashinvaders account is not necessary, you can simply click Got it ! on a mosaic to save a flash.
Collect unique badges as you reach new level. Each badge represents a skill your mastered or challenge overcome; level of flashed invaders, number of cities, number of geo-localized invaders to help the community.
The flashed badges like Flashed-10 is here to boost you in your quest and reward the fact you flashed 10 Space Invaders.
City badges reward you for conquering a new city by flashing a Space Invader there.
The geolocalized badges reward your participation when you give us some feed back, new position, status, address ...
The daily day badges like, Daily-quest -10 reward you for a flash tour. The more space invader you flash, higher will be your daily-quest badge. Be aware that only certified flashed will be taken in count during a daily quest.
A certified flash is a flash based on your flash sync with FlashInvaders datas after a connection.
You can also certify a flash when your location is near a space invader.
1. You'll have to enable your location in the map
2. You have to be near a space invader when you click on GOT IT !
3. Your flash will be certified with a padlock icon.
Because we love this game and we want to highlight Invader art works, we created special badges.
Some of them are obvious like the golf Eiffle Tower if you flash PA_1431. You'll find a clue on the back of the badge.
The world of Invader art has inspired a wealth of resources! MySpaceInvaderMap joins existing options like paid iOS apps, artist publications (books, paper maps), online maps and more.
